Riccardo Benigno

Born in the 80’s Riccardo Benigno was nurtured by an incredible musical era.. He was basically roadie from the age he could carry anything, helping his dad’s band who performed in the 80’s and 90’s. From a very young age his passion for music was imminent. He pursued his dream by learning and continuing to learn to play any instrument he could get his hands on.  

With his accomplished musical interest and career, Riccardo attended The School Of Audio Engineering (SAE Institute) and received his Bachelors degree in Sound Production. A contrasting talent, a fascinating music producer, a marvellous songwriter, a superb singer and a positive performer. Riccardo brings a distinctive expression through song, sound and performance. Raised in Johannesburg, South Africa and then travelling the music dimensions of many continents, the sonic experience is extremely colourful with diversity. Encaptured with a mixture of technical percussive grooves, dirty synth sounds and vibrant vocals, the mixology reflects the future with his motto “It is all about the space.”

Riccardo has spent years and years of practice forming part of Soundlanguage and joining his brother Domenico to create Brothers of Benigno (B.o.B live).  Inspired and thirsty for further education Ricc found himself performing amongst some of the most highly renowned artists around the World. Bringing an original reflection of his wide emotional fusion of multiple genres, creating a unique sound for all audiences. With music released on Berlin’s Katermukke, Kalushi Recordings, Nomadiq Records, Something Different Records and SNP Studio Colombia, just to name a few. Mr Benigno is only at the very beginning of a special untamed journey through the timeless universal language of audio.
